Paint Modified is a first aid antiseptic and drying agent.

Colorless - Without Basic Fuchsin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS/WARNINGS:
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use in the eyes or apply
over large areas of the body. In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal
bites, or serious burns consult a podiatrist, dermatologist, physician or
pharmacist. Stop use and consult a physician or pharmacist if the
condition persists or gets worse. Do not use longer than one week unless
directed by a podiatrist, dermatologist, physician or pharmacist. Do not
bandage. Care should be taken to avoid spilling and guard against
staining. Castellani Paint Modified will stain skin and clothing.
Check skin for sensitivity for Phenol prior to application. Phenol, even
in this low concentration, may be irritating and sensitizing to the skin of some
people.
DIRECTIONS: Clean the
affected area. Apply a small amount of this product on the area one to
three times daily.
DR. GREEN'S COMMENTS: "Many
podiatrists use Castellani Paint to dry moist skin,
especially between the toes. It works quickly and is outstanding at
drying moist areas of feet and toes and instantly
relieving the itch caused by athlete's foot. The colored
Castellani Paint is helpful since you are able to see where you have applied it
but be warned, if you spill it, it will permanently stain whatever it spilled
onto! Also realize that the color will remain on your skin for quite some
time - maybe even weeks. You may want to use colorless if you're wearing
sandals or going to the beach. I have found the easiest way to apply
Castellani Paint is with a 6 inch cotton tipped applicator (if you don't have
one, a Q-Tip will do). Consider wearing disposable gloves since it will
stain your fingers too. Since Castellani Paint is not indicated to treat
athlete's foot, you may want to purchase an antifungal cream/solution and use
antifungal powder."
