Gordofilm Wart Remover Solution

Indications: Keratolytic
(removes superficial cells of the skin) for removal of verrucae (common and
plantar warts).
ACTIVE Ingredient:
Salicylic Acid 16.7% USP.
OTHER Ingredients:
Flexible Collodion vehicle.
DESCRIPTION: Gordofilm has been specially
formulated for the topical management and removal of common and plantar warts.
The common wart, known as verruca, is easily recognized by the rough
cauliflower-like appearance of the surface. Gordofilm is known as a
keratolytic agent, in that it breaks down or dissolves the rough or horny layer
of the epidermal tissues known as keratin. The Salicylic Acid (16.7% USP)
in Gordofilm exerts a marked keratolytic action which makes it a beneficial
agent in the local treatment of warts. The Flexible Collodion in the
formula is used as a protective or sealant, and as an antiseptic which coats the
affected area.
CONTRAINDICATIONS/WARNINGS:
For external use only. Do not use on moles, birthmarks, warts with
hair growing from them, genital warts, warts on the face or mucous membranes.
Do not use on irritated, infected reddened skin or if you are a diabetic or have
poor blood circulation. If discomfort persists see your physician or
podiatrist. Highly flammable. Keep away from fire or flame.
Keep bottle tightly capped. Store at room temperature. Keep away
from heat. Keep out of the reach of children. If product gets
into eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes. Avoid inhaling vapors.
DIRECTIONS: Wash
affected area. Dry area thoroughly. Apply one drop at a time to
sufficiently cover each wart. Let dry. Then repeat above steps 1-2
times daily as needed for up to 12 weeks.
